Who we are
This website is operated by Talos Automation, LLC, Houston, Texas ("we", "us"). It describes the Talos Connect product and lets you contact us.
What we collect
- Contact form details you choose to send: name, email, phone, business name, industry and your message, plus the page you sent it from and any campaign tags in the link you followed.
- Basic server logs such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, kept for security and troubleshooting.
- Visitor analytics (Talos Listen), our own analytics tool running on our servers. It records the pages you view, time spent on them, the referring site, your screen width, and clicks on phone, email and booking links, under a random ID stored in your browser (localStorage, not a cookie). It looks up which organization owns the network your IP address belongs to (for example a company or an internet provider) using public internet-registry data; it does not identify you personally from your IP address. If you submit a form, the details you entered are linked to your visit history so we can respond in context. Activity summaries may be processed by an AI service provider (Anthropic) to help us categorize inquiries. Page events are kept for 90 days and visitor summaries for up to 12 months. It honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track, and you can turn it off in any browser by opening any page with
?tl_optout=1added to the address. It also records where on the page you click and move your mouse, and which parts of the page are on screen (positions only, never page content or what you type), to build combined heatmaps. It never runs inside the Talos Connect application.
This marketing site does not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
How we use it
We use contact form details only to reply to your request and to follow up about Talos Connect. We do not sell personal information.
The Talos Connect application
Businesses that use the Talos Connect application are responsible for the customer information they store in it. Our handling of that information is governed by our agreement with each business, including a Business Associate Agreement where required.
Text messages (SMS)
If you provide a mobile number, or agree on a phone call to receive a text, we or a business using Talos Connect may send you service texts from the business's own number: for example directions, an appointment confirmation, a callback confirmation, a secure payment link, or a follow-up after a missed call. Consent is collected on the call or when you text the business first. On a call, nothing is sent until the receptionist has read this opt-in script and you have agreed: "I can text that to the number you're calling from. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Our privacy policy and text terms are at connect.talosautomation.ai/privacy. Would you like me to send it?" Our SMS terms and conditions apply. Your agreement is logged with the date, time and phone number. Messages are transactional; we do not send marketing texts through this program.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, START to opt back in, and HELP for help, or call (346) 330-3390. For anything else, use our Contact Us page. After you reply STOP you receive one confirmation and no further texts. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers and consent records are used only to deliver the texts described above and are never sold.
